About me

 

My name is Nicole and I’m married to Michael. We’ve been married 14 years (it’s been a journey…lol!) We have 3 kids ages 21, 12, and 11 (I know... big space then no space). Michael and I are originally from Baltimore, Maryland. He’s an active duty Marine whose career has taken us all over the world. We’ve lived in North Carolina, California, Pennsylvania, Japan, Minnesota, and now we’re in North Carolina again. He’s been in the Marine Corps for 18 years and isn’t quite sure what he wants to do when he grows upJ. I have a bachelor’s degree in accounting and while I love crunching numbers, I think spending time with family is much more important! I love to cook—which I do very well, watch movies, and hang out with my best friend—my husband. I’m very competitive and I’m also a perfectionist which is more of a weakness than a strength if I’m not careful. Oh, and did I mention that I’m a roller coaster fanatic!? Yes, I love amusement parks! I actually wish that I could open my own theme park—“Thrill Seekers’ Paradise”; all of the rides would be rated 4 or 5 (5 being the scariest). Um, um, um oh how I love roller coasters…. I also have an obsession with hair. I have so many beauty supplies you’d think I was a hair stylist. Yes, that is my vice…whenever I see that new flat iron or hair steamer (REALLY…I have a hair steamer in addition to my many hair dryers), or that Indian/ Brazilian virgin curly hair (I have a pretty nice length of hair of my own, but I still love weaves [protective style]) I just have to have it!
